facility to provide young players and inexperienced brass ensembles the chance

White River Brass has presented workshops throughout the
Country from Durham to Lincoln, and from Leicester to Liverpool.
The group is made up of six players of the Black Dyke Band
and as such the group is able to alter its orchestration depending on the nature
of the workshop or concert.
James Stretton: Teaches music in the Harrogate area
and plays solo cornet with the Black Dyke Band.
Andy Holmes: Teachers music in the Durham area and plays
solo cornet with the Balck Dyke Band
Keith Britcliffe: A teacher in the Leicester area that
provides the group with invaluable experience in workshops he plays back row
with the Black Dyke Band.

John Doyle: Now a Teacher in the Preston Area John studied
at the Royal Northern College of Music, and plays Flugel Horn with the Black
Dyke Band.
Arfon Owen: Is in his final year at the Royal Northenr
College of Music and has been in the Black Dyke Band on tenor horn for the past
four years.
David Thornton: David has been making a name for himself as
a soloist in his own right, and after studying at Chethams school of music and
the Royal Northern College of Music he now plays Principal Euphonium with the
Black Dyke Band and is a tutor at the RNCM and Huddersfield University.

Joe Cook: Another active soloist Joe has studied at Leeds
University and is now a Math's teacher in County Durham.
