This section of my website highlights repertoire that I play in concert performances as well as some recommended material which I hope you find useful.
As well as the pieces below I now offer several Lecture Recitals of interesting repertoire discovered whilst researching for my Doctorate in Performance Studies (DMA PhD).
a) “Forgotten solos from 1475-1880″ includes Cesare, Novokovsky, Meyer, Telemann, St Thomas Sonata (Anonymous) and Frederick Innes.
b) “The Fantastic Sousa Soloists” includes, trombone solos by Gardel Simons, Arthur Pryor, Manual Yingling, L Boos, T H Rollinson, Leo Zimmerman and Herbert Clarke.
c) “Forgotten solos from the golden era of brass bands” includes William Rimmer, J Ord Hume, J A Greenwood, Harold Moss, George Hespe and Arthur Pryor.
d) “Significant repertoire for the brass band trombonist” includes, Gordon Langfords Rhapsody, Dance Sequence by Gareth Wood, Bolivar by Eric Cook, Radio City by Peter Graham, Eternal Quest by Steadmann-Allen, Concertino Leidzen, Gregson Concerto.
